ROYAL ENFIELD CLASSIC 350 2017 GUNMETAL GREY
Launched this month, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey has started arriving in dealerships. Here are some detailed pictures of the motorcycle courtesy Siddhi Vinayak Royal Enfield.
The major change is the swingarm, which is borrowed from the Royal Enfield Thunderbird. This setup allows the inclusion of a rear disc brake as well. The rear disc is a 240 mm unit with a single piston calliper. The front wheel uses a 280 mm disc with a two-piston calliper. ABS is absent.

The front and rear mudguards, fuel tank and side boxes are in the Gunmetal Grey colour. The stickers on the fuel tank, toolbox, and air filter box are in matte black. The bike gets a dark tan seat that is taken from the existing Classic Chrome.
The motorcycle employs a 346 cc single cylinder twin spark engine that makes 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed transmission. 35 mm front telescopic fork and twin rear gas-charged shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload suspend the single downtube frame. The frame uses the engine as the stressed member.

The front end gets 19-inch spoke wheel while the rear features 18-inch unit. A 90-section front and a 120-section rear wrap the wheels. The fuel tank can hold 13.5 litres of juice and the motorcycle tips the scale at 192 kg, kerb. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey variant costs INR 1,59,677 on-road, Chennai. Bookings for the motorcycle have already commenced.
